Ari Holmes
MA Communication Design
I am a mixed media artist, writer, and visual communicator, with skills in digital illustration, traditional arts, and project management. As a recent graduate of MA Communication Design, I am happy to collaborate, and skilled at understanding and fulfilling a brief with flexibility, adaptability and attention to detail. I thrive when I can bring ideas to fruition and use creative problem-solving to reach a finished product or experience.
As an international student, I moved abroad alone and had to adapt to a whole new culture. Through this, I have demonstrated resilience and determination to succeed and overcome any hardship. In my work, I explore character and story, mental health, and queer issues, and I’m interested in multiple creative areas including illustration, sculptural work, events, music videos, and film. Outside creative work, I try to keep plants alive, and cook new recipes, and I love spending time with nature.
