MA Fashion
Over the past year, I have been leaning into a deep interest in how clothing can affect the way we inhabit our bodies. This has led to an investigation into the foundational tools and principles that guide fashion design, and where those may fall short of meeting the reality of variation of the human form. My work explores the disconnect caused by this and its broader impact, as well as looking at how we can begin to build bridges, re-thinking our tools and the ways in which we use them. Rooted in politics of liberation, acceptance, and inclusivity, I wish to create work that celebrates the space we occupy as individuals, both physically and metaphorically.
