Daniel Robinson
MA Communication Design
I am a Graphic Design graduate from Norwich University of the Arts and Masters student in Communication Design. In my work I strive to be constantly playful, connect with people and communicate ideas in a fresh, new way. I am passionate about Design, but also have skills in UI/UX Design and Moving Image.
I love to work on big branding projects and explore new and interesting ways that brands can interact with the audience; driving engagement. The ASU 1 unit was targeted at sustainability, so my design focused on the solution to charging electric vehicles in a more realistic way, focusing on everyday people with busy lives, not guaranteed to park on their driveway every night, who work in cities or town centres.
The SNU unit on the Masters challenged us to experiment with design. I decided to play with icon design and introduce modular grid design rules.
Finally, my Master’s project focused on new technologies and how they can enhance a part of the BBC. BBC Bitesize+ is a brand new learning platform on mobile devices for children. Answering the brief āemerging technology in educationā for the BBC.
