I am a recent MA Communication Design graduate and work as an illustrator, graphic designer and printmaker. I create work which seeks to involve diverse audiences, challenge perceptions and explore topics in an in-depth yet playful way. I love to engage wide audiences with niche topics in innovative ways. I am particularly interested in working within the arts and heritage sector, collaborating with organisations such as the National Trust and Colchester Museums.
During my MA, I developed my skills in both digital and analogue design, combining the disciplines to create original and exciting work. I am proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, as well as in traditional illustration mediums.
My projects are frequently research-led, taking data and transforming it into an engaging visual medium. I have excellent project planning and teamwork skills, advanced further during my time with UEA i-Teams and the Norfolk Broads Authority this year, where I researched and developed new uses for archival material.
I have a strong drive to succeed in the creative industry, undertaking commissions and commercial work alongside my studies, as well as volunteering with cultural organisations. I completed my MA under lockdown conditions and believe the skills and resilience gained during this time would make me an asset in a fast-paced and evolving industry.
