MA Textile Design
I am a recent graduate of MA Textile Design with a passion for embroidery. Throughout my degree, I have developed and utilised my skills to create fashion garments, which is what I dream to pursue in the future. This course has motivated me to explore different avenues in Textiles and Fashion that I have never tried before, including experimenting with E-Textiles.
I enjoy drawing on Procreate and seeing my designs come to life using print and CAD embroidery. Throughout the year, I was researching the history of space, particularly ancient Greek astrology. For my Master’s project, I looked at using Tarot cards to improve mental health and how that could be represented through fashion. I was inspired by couture techniques and spent that time applying detail using beading. This past year I have learnt organisation, collaboration and professionalism and my degree at NUA has given me opportunities to enhance my creativity that I look forward to showing, particularly when entering work this year.
