Tom Driver
I am a Communication Designer and creator who approaches design with creative ambition and confidence. Design is what I love to do and tackling new and exciting briefs really inspires me. I have a wide range of experience across areas of design having worked as a professional Graphic Designer before completing my Master’s Degree at NUA, this experience includes; brand creation, campaign development, layout design, and experimental design.
I believe that the power of design has the potential to make huge positive changes in the world. I live for opportunities to collaborate with other creators to be a part of that positive change. During my time at NUA I had the opportunity to help design a campaign which aimed to improve the perceptions of homeless people around Norfolk.
My Masters at NUA gave me the opportunity to develop my own visual styles and the freedom to explore many elements of my creative practice that I hadn’t been able to previously. The artwork produced in my project ‘The Digital Stamp Book’ is an exciting fusion of analogue and digital design with a style that has been created for use on a variety of exciting applications. As a creator, I love creating designs that seamlessly combine and juxtapose various styles so I can always deliver creative and memorable results for every brief I work on.
As I continue my design career after the MA, I will actively be seeking opportunities and collaborations to use design for positivity in the world.
