I am a multimedia artist living and now, just finished studying in Norfolk. My work is almost always nature based, I love creating images of flowers and using different media to portray them. I work mostly with lino prints, dry points, ink, paintings and embroidery.
Originally from Norwich I returned home to study my Masters part-time at NUA (2018-2020). During my time at NUA I have developed my printing skills and experimented with new media and techniques, such as working with ink and textiles which I really enjoy.
A lot of my inspiration for my work comes from areas in and around Norfolk, but most specifically my parents’ garden. In the spring and summer our garden is my favourite place to be, my parents have worked incredibly hard to create a space filled with flowers and other plants visible from my studio that always motivate my creative side.
Changing between media is a way for me to refresh my work and look at how I can develop my art further, almost looking at what I’ve previously made with a fresh pair of eyes.
