Sheila Robinson
MA Fine Art
Sheila Robinson is an artist working in painting, sculpture and drawing. During her M.A she explored themes of coastal processes, travel and migration. Her undergraduate degree in Fine Art is from Winchester School of Art & she has a PGCE from Brighton University.
She has exhibited widely in the UK and Sweden including at the National Theatre in London, the Royal Society of Marine Artists, the Royal Institute of Oil Painters, and at the Commonwealth Games and is a past winner of a Rank Xerox National Painting Award and the Windsor and Newton Young Artist award at the Royal Institute of Oil Painters.
She is a trustee of the charity Cromer Artspace, helping to set up their not-for-profit gallery and public arts projects, and has worked as an art teacher in the UK and in Sweden. When she isn’t making art she is a keen power lifter, reader and traveller.
